• The Marrakesh race takes place on a circuit that was first created for the World Touring Car Championship, before the Formula E arrived in the city for the first time at the end of 2016.
• The circuit features a mixture of permanent race track and city streets, but all of it is lined with concrete walls.
• The Marrakesh ePrix is the first Formula E event to take place on the African continent.
• The track is located close to Marrakesh’s famous city wall and medina, the extensive old city that is now a world heritage site.
